Peep Game Comix Invites Comicbook Readers to #ExploreBlackComics during Black History Month
The #ExploreBlackComics social media campaign encourages all comics fans to explore and share comics created by, featuring or written about African Americans throughout February. Comics creators are invited to submit their logo and info for promotion.
Peep Game Comix, the digital comic book platform dedicated to highlighting and promoting Black comic book creators, invites comics fans and creators to Explore Black Comics during Black History Month 2016. Throughout the month of February, Peep Game and their social media friends ( BlackGirlNerd.com, Black Comics Chat, LifeSlice Media and others) will feature Black creators and their creations using #exploreblackcomics via Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and Facebook.
The social campaign is also an opportunity for fans to catch exclusive interviews with comics creators, special offers and giveaways from the best the Black comix world has to offer.
Additionally black indie comics creators are invited to use the hashtag to showcase their comic book title(s) featuring artists, writers, and/or publishers of color.
“This is an opportunity for the strong black comics community to gather their knowledge and resources and channel them throughout the month,” Imani Lateef, owner of Peep Game Comix said. “No one person owns the movement and only by working together everyone, no matter the race, gender or comic genre interest, can discover great Black comics creators. It’s putting action to the quest for diversity everyone’s talking about.”
